Honda cbx1000 Specifications

Honda CBX 1000 Six Cylinders
Honda CBX1000 was the one of the most amazing machines ever to come out of Japan.
The smoothness of the six cylinder engine was the first thing to impress.
CBX 1000 cc. six cylinders with four valves per cylinder, featured sophisticated constant velocity carburetors and made around 105 horsepower at 9,000rpm. The engine looks very wide in pictures, but the bike is actually only two inches wider than the four-cylinder Honda CB750. According to a road test done by American magazine Cycle, the CBX did the quarter mile in 11.55 seconds and was capable of 220km/h top speeds.

Honda CB750

Honda CB750
The Honda CB750 changed everything. The British motorcycle industry was caught flat footed by this comfortable, powerful, reliable motorcycle and when the Honda reached the shores of the U.S., there was nothing in the British lineup able to respond. Honda has since come to dominate the world motorcycle market and the CB750 was one of the most important models they have ever produced. Today, these early Hondas are still fun to ride and as good looking as ever.
You can still find a nice one at a very reasonable price and if you take care of it, the money you spend will be returned when you sell it, if you ever decide to, but you may just want to keep it forever.
More recently, the CB750 has been used by some as the basis for building very nice looking cafe racers. Modified in the spirit of the early British bikes, they look good and perform surprisingly well.
